About Eiryth Finnigan:
Dr. Eiryth Finnigan completed her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2006 at University College London (UCL) in the U.K. During her training at UCL, Dr. Finnigan had experience working with people across the entire lifespan (i.e. child, adult, and older adult) in a variety of contexts including, outpatient, inpatient, forensic, and health settings. She also had extensive training and experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Systemic Therapy, Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT), and Person-Centered Psychotherapy. After completing her doctorate, Dr. Finnigan was employed for two years as a Clinical Psychologist in an Older Adults’ Mental Health Service in London, where she worked with individuals, couples, and families in both community and inpatient settings. She also provided CBT, Systemic, and Psychodynamic therapy interventions as part of a Psychological Therapies Service and completed a foundation course in family therapy. Dr. Finnigan then worked for one year as a Clinical Psychologist within a busy nephrology department in a London hospital with patients undergoing dialysis and kidney transplant. Dr. Finnigan relocated to San Antonio eight years ago. Since then, she has spent several years conducting psychological evaluations with people applying for social security disability under the supervision of a licensed psychologist, and she has been working towards licensure as a Clinical Psychologist in Texas, which she received in 2015. She also took some time off from work to raise her son, who is now four years-old. In her free time, Dr. Finnigan enjoys spending time with her son, gardening, Zumba, Pilates, and traveling.
