Ashlee M. Martinez, Psy.D
Dr. Ashlee Martinez earned her doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Our Lady of the Lake University in August 2018. While attending OLLU, Dr. Martinez discovered her passion for working with Veterans early on in her doctoral training. She completed two years of practicum and her pre-doctoral clinical psychology internship at South Texas Veterans Health Care System. During her time with STVHCS she has had the opportunity to complete a variety clinical rotations which has given her the opportunity to work with a veteran, services members, their partners and family members. Currently, Dr. Martinez is completing a clinical psychology fellowship within the VA Health Care System specializing in Couples and Family. She continues to follow her passion striving to be multiculturally competent professional who serves a diverse patient population and gives back to the profession of psychology through practice, training, mentorship, and community service. Her commitment can be seen through her various leadership roles to include: Campus Representative – Division 17, Positive Psychology Section (2016- 2018); OLLU Program Representative – Student Affiliates of Seventeen, Society of Counseling Psychology (2016-2018); Psi Chi International Honor Society (Secretary 2013-2015) (President 2015-2016); Psychology Graduate Student Association (Doctoral Representative 2013-2016).
