Amanda Wetegrove-Romine, Psy.D
Dr. Wetegrove-Romine, PsyD, earned her doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Our Lady of the Lake University in 2015. At OLLU, she developed a passion for working with underserved populations, such as women experiencing homelessness and Latina/o clients with limited socioeconomic resources. She completed her pre-doctoral clinical psychology internship at Valley Coastal Bend VA Health Care System(VCBVHCS) in 2015 and her post-doctoral fellowship at the South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS) in 2016. Dr. Wetegrove-Romine continues her work with underserved populations as a staff psychologist at STVHCS, where she provides evidence-based behavioral and psychological interventions to Veterans. She works in both a primary care medical setting as well as a mental health outpatient clinic, as part of two integrated treatment teams at the VA. Dr. Wetegrove-Romine has presented at national conferences, including the Association for Women in Psychology and National Latina/o Psychological Association. She most recently served on the BCPA Executive Committee as the 2017 President Elect and previously the Early Career Member-at-Large for 2016.
